ThermoProtect Silverall
Energy saving
The SkyFol ThermoProtect SI window film series provides the opportunity of reducing the energy load resulting from visible light besides the strong filtration of the infrared spectrum. These two spectra are responsible for the energy amount that gets through the glazing in an approximately fifty-fifty ratio. For this reason, if our goal is to reduce the mentioned energy amount, this window film series is the best solution.
Privacy protection during the day
The reflective silver SkyFol ThermoProtect SI window films containing an appropriate amount of aluminium provide a full reflective image even at daylight – protecting from unwanted insight.
Summer heat protection
The aluminium metallization in the SkyFol ThermoProtect SI window film series effectively protects against the energy coming through the glazing in summer. Thanks to its reflectivity, it reflects a significant part of unwanted radiation and it only absorbs a smaller part, securing effectiveness.
Winter heat protection
It is an important aspect in winter to keep the heat radiating to the outside in the house. This property of the films can be improved with the positioning of metallized layer. This very technique was applied in case of SkyFol ThermoProtect SI 15 LE that reflects 73% of the heat radiating to the outside back into the room.
Outstanding American quality
The SkyFol ThermoProtect SI window film series is the product of an American window film manufacturer belonging to the world-elite. The ThermoProtect SI window film series provides a crystal-clear image, an appropriate optical clearness, an even metallization and durable, outstanding technical parameters.
Long-lasting UV protection
Window films belonging to the ThermoProtect SI series almost completely filter out UV radiation, protecting your and your loved ones’ health. Thanks to the inorganic UV absorbing particles, the SI films don’t lose from their performance even after many years.
SkyFol documents and guarantee
After application, all our valued customers get a Guarantee of Workmanship form that contains the customer information and the guarantee terms. The form is numbered, it is filled out in three copies.
SkyFol Applicator Network
The application of a quality film requires appropriate professionals. The skilled partners of SkyFol Applicator Network, who are on contract with the central distributor, all have theoretical and practical knowledge to your service.
If you want to reduce the burning feeling behind the glass, you should choose a high IR-rejection and a low solar energy absorption value.
If you want to reduce the total energy amount that comes into the room, then you should choose a low SHGC value with a low solar energy absorption value.
If you want the strongest possible heat protection so that the light transmission shouldn’t significantly be reduced, then the luminous efficacy should be as high as possible.

The calculated values were measured on films on a 6 mm glass surface. For the calculation we used the software of Lawrence Berkeley Lab. The values can be measured on your glazing system as well – if needed.
