ThermoProtect Silverall Exterior
Energy saving in summer
Exterior window films provide the strongest heat protection in case of advanced, multiple-pane and soft-metal coated glasses as they do not radiate the absorbed heat into the interior but to the outside. This fact could mean a better efficiency by 30% in contrast to the interior equivalents.
Privacy protection during the day
One can enjoy a total privacy protection during the day thanks to the fully closed aluminium metal structure. Naturally, an antithetic effect is evoked by the reverse of light conditions; namely people can see into the interior whereas one cannot see out.
American product
Like all SkyFol ThermoProtect window films, Exterior LL window films are products of leading American window film manufacturers. In case of exterior films, the quality of the scratch resistant coating and the durability of the adhesive layer are especially important therefore you should choose an approved, good quality product with good references.
Long-lasting UV protection
SkyFol ThermoProtect exterior window films almost completely filter out UV radiation, protecting you and your beloved ones from harmful UV radiation. The used inorganic UV filter compounds don’t decline in their performance even after years.
SkyFol documents and warranty
After each and every application you get an official, numbered Guarantee of Workmanship form that contains the customer information and the guarantee terms.
SkyFol Applicator Network
The quality of the application is probably the most important in case of the exterior films. The certified members of SkyFol Applicator Network have installed thousands of square meters of exterior window films during the past two decades for the satisfaction of hundreds of customers. Do not choose by chance!
Exterior vs. interior window films
Although exterior films are really unbeatable in summer in question of energy reduction – like everything – they have their disadvantages as opposed to interior films. The greatest drawback is that during winter they do not radiate the absorbed energy into the room and that they don’t reflect the eradiating heat effectively, taking away a significant amount of energy from the room. The second significant disadvantage is the shorter guarantee time. The third drawback is the often costly application procedure. Even so, if you only want to save costs on air-conditioning, outdoor films are the optimal choice.
If you want to reduce the burning feeling behind the glass, you should choose a high IR-rejection and a low solar energy absorption value.
If you want to reduce the total energy amount that comes into the room, then you should choose a low SHGC value with a low solar energy absorption value.
If you want the strongest possible heat protection so that the light transmission shouldn’t significantly be reduced, then the luminous efficacy should be as high as possible.
