Invisible heat protection with SkyFol Shark IR automotive window film
The SkyFol Shark IR automotive window film is manufactured with a brand-new, revolutionary technology. The film is completely invisible on the glass surface, yet it filters out more than half of the radiated heat. The heat protection is due to the spectral selectivity of the film, thanks to that the film lets the visible light to a great extent through. Besides, it keeps the infrared transmission under 20% in the whole analyzed spectrum as opposed to several other products that filter different parts of the infrared spectrum with variable intensity. 

Optically distortion-free, crystal clear
One of the greatest challenges is the totally distortion-free optical appearance in case of a film that has to prove itself after heat-shrinking directly in the field of vision with special heat-absorbing compounds in its structure. The traditional infra-absorbing films have in most cases two layers and they have a wavy image at certain points after shrinking. After the application, our contracted partners fill out a hologrammed Guarantee of Workmanship form about the product. Shark IR 70 war the first product in Hungary that got the official application licenses for colourless side windows. The Shark IR series provides a guarantee of 5 years against peeling, delamination, bubbling and adhesive failure.

Watch out: Do not become a victim!
Several IR films are offered worldwide. One has to pay attention to three aspects in case of IR films. The most common trick is that the product only provides an appropriate performance in one particular spectrum of infrared radiation; exactly in that spectrum where the hand instruments measure. If we use an appropriate IR coating, we still have to deal with the question of optical clearness that is directly in our field of vision; after a significant shrinking it is a question of structure as well.
