P Series - The Optimal Choice

Nowadays, nearly all new glasses are double pane with low-e coating and in most of the cases with gas filling. The absorption of such windows are high and applying a film that increases the absorption significantly will lower the energy saving performance. This makes regular window film products much less efficient. ThermoProtect P series is an NSN sputtered film, with very low absorption properties, making it the optimal choice for highly effective glazings. ThermoProtect P series is available with 35, 50 and 70% VLT. Another advantage of the P series is that it is an effective barrier of heat loss during winter time on glasses not coated with low-e. As the glass absorbs about 80% of the longer wavelength IR radiation, the P series with its low-absorbance and high reflectance acts similar to a low-e coating on the glass.
