SkyFol Security SNEU
American quality
The thickness of the adhesive is especially important in case of safety films. In general, the safety films from the Far East are made with a thin adhesive layer (8-12 micron), which results in a weak adhesion. The SkyFol Security safety films are products of leading American manufacturers with an adhesive layer of appropriate thickness (19-25 micron) – for your safety.
Safety and heat-protection combined
The Security SNEU film protects your glasses from heat thanks to its nickel-chrome metallization without changing the look of your windows. The SNEU series is mainly based on absorption so it is only recommended if the image cannot be changed.
UV protection
SkyFol safety- and security films protect your health by filtering harmful UV-radiation and they also protect the interior from fading.
Professional application
The appropriate assessment of the endangerment and the offer to prevent it require practice and business approach. Beware of companies that recommend a product without right justification. The certified, experienced and contracted partners of the SkyFol Applicator Network have the necessary professional knowledge for a spotless application.
If you want to reduce the burning feeling behind the glass, you should choose a high IR-rejection and a low solar energy absorption value.
If you want to reduce the total energy amount that comes into the room, then you should choose a low SHGC value with a low solar energy absorption value.
If you want the strongest possible heat protection so that the light transmission shouldn’t significantly be reduced, then the luminous efficacy should be as high as possible.

The calculated values were measured on films on a 6 mm glass surface. For the calculation we used the software of Lawrence Berkeley Lab. The values can be measured on your glazing system as well – if needed.
